I was born in Detroit, Michigan. Joined the Army when I was 17. Went to Japan and then to Korea when the war started. Was in the battle of the Chosin Reservoir
in Nov-Dec 1950, wounded. In 1962 I did my first tour in Vietnam as an advisor to the Vietnamese 25th Infantry Division. In 1966 I went toVietnam for my second
tour as an advisor to the Vietnamese 23rd Infantry Division. Did my third tour of Vietnam in 1972-73 as Operations Sgt in the 1st Signal Brigade in Saigon. My
stateside tours include Instructor at Fort Dix, N.J., Fort Jackson, S.C. and Fort Monmouth, N.J. Drill Instructor at Fort Dix, N. J.. Fort Riley, KS for basic
in 1949 and in 1967 as First/Sgt in Hqs Company, 422nd Signal Battalion. Second tour in Korea in 1969 as First/Sgt in a Signal Company at Camp Howze. Germany
tours include the 3rd Armored Cav in Bindlach,and the 168th Combat Engineer Battalion in Nellingen Germany. Did a short tour in Fort Hood, TX as Operations Sgt
in a Signal Battalion. After Military retirement I drove an 18 wheeler for 28 years cross country. I'm single and loving it. I'm as patriotic as they
come.
